MasterDay Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that MasterDay receives from Meta products, and of any other personal data we hold. Today the only Meta product connected to MasterDay is WhatsApp. Instagram is not connected yet; when it is, we will update this page. For what data we hold and why, see our privacy policy.

1. How to request deletion

If you are a specialist using MasterDay

  1. Email contact@mkblabs.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
  2. Send it from the email address on your MasterDay account, or include the phone number on the account.
  3. Say whether you want your whole account deleted, or only the data from a connected channel (WhatsApp or Telegram).

If you are a client of a salon that uses MasterDay

  1. Ask the salon directly, or
  2. Email contact@mkblabs.com with the subject "Data deletion request", the salon's name and your phone number.

The salon decides what it records about its clients, so we will handle your request together with the salon.

2. What happens next

  1. We confirm that we received your request.
  2. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so no one can delete someone else's data.
  3. We delete the data within 30 days and email you when it is done.
  4. If we cannot delete something, for example because the law requires us to keep it, we tell you what we kept and why.

3. What is deleted

Deleting data from MasterDay does not delete messages from WhatsApp or Telegram themselves, or from the phones of the people in the conversation. Those are controlled by each app and its users.
